The first of 200 breastfeeding rooms for mothers have been completed in Beijing, and the city plans to complete 1,000 such rooms in three years, Beijing News reported on Thursday.
The capital launched the project early this year for female employees to breastfeed their babies. The city has 3.25 million women of childbearing age, and many working mothers insist on breastfeeding but have to use toilets to do so.
