Man fined for smoking on high-speed train

A smoker who lit up on a high-speed train, triggering an alarm and causing the train to slow, has been fined 1,000 yuan ($160). The man, surnamed Liu, was caught smoking in a restroom on the train from Beijing to Tianjin, Beijing Times reported.
