A total of 500 chateaus from 22 countries around the world showcased their products at the International Wine Exposition, part of this year's International Grape Conference, which started in Beijing's Yanqing county on July 29.
The wine expo, with a theme of "Brand, Trade, Cooperation", provides a platform for international trade and exhibition.

More than 300 famous chateaus and enterprises both old and new, as well as the top 10 wine-producing areas in China and well-known domestic wine brands, came together during the event.
This year's expo is unique as all exhibitors are wine producers. What's more, world-famous wine masters were invited to taste and rate the different varieties.

At the expo, visitors can talk business with wine producers, listen to experts' suggestions on investment and wine tourism, and share opinions with wine masters over drinks.

The event is sponsored by the International Society for Horticultural Science, China's Ministry of Agriculture, Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Beijing Municipal People's Government. It is also supported by the China Chamber of International Commerce, the China National Association for Liquor and Spirits Circulation, and the China Alcoholic Drinks Association.
