The fourth general meeting of the Zhongguancun Enterprises Credit Promotion Association (ECPA) took place in Beijing on July 1, 2014, according to the Administrative Committee of Zhongguancun Science Park.
More than 270 delegates from Zhongguancun and 320 representatives from commercial banks, guarantor companies, venture capital institutions and intermediary credit organizations attended the meeting.
At the meeting, the association released its work report, financial report and a revised version of its regulations. It also voted to create a fourth council consisting of 110 member units and a new three-member board of supervisors.
Duan Hongwei, president of the association's new council, announced a three-year action plan (2014-2016) which aims to improve the services of credit institutions and help commendable enterprises get financial support.
As the nation's first organization promoting enterprise credit, the association has attracted more than 4,700 members so far and worked with financial institutions, intermediary organizations and other member units over the years.
