A Canadian tech team from ZDG Ottawa International Incubation Center won permission to build a new type of road that will turn the vibration caused by cars into electricity in Zhongguancun Science Park, Beijing Daily reported on Monday.
The team views China as a good place to apply its world-leading technologies to industry and markets.
The team's success in the Chinese market is in great part thanks to the incubation center in Canada. Teams in the center not only enjoy favorable rent, but also have access to information on market, investment and technology trends in China via teleconference.
The incubation center is an international business incubator, which was jointly founded by Invest Ottawa and Zhongguancun Development Group (ZDG).
