Road accident costs driver 80,000 yuan

A man was ordered to pay nearly 80,000 yuan ($12,855) for injuring three people in a traffic accident after failing to take his car for an annual inspection, Jinghua Times reported on Thursday. The man, surnamed Zhang, was involved in the accident on Dec 25. He was ordered to pay the money even though his car was insured.
