Intelligent Grouping and Resource Sharing (IGRS), together with 14 enterprises from Zhongguancun Science Park, including DHC Software Co, Sound Group and Beijing Originwater Technology Co, have launched China Smart City Invest Union (CSCIU), according to the Zhongguancun Administrative Committee.
The construction of smart cities is booming. So far, a total of 193 cities have been selected as the first pilot cities for China's smart cities project, and their investment is expected to reach 2 trillion yuan ($320 billion) over the next decade.
"We are willing to work together with all parties in smart city industrial chains. Meanwhile, we will take advantage of capital, technology and personnel and grasp business opportunities," said Xue Xiangdong, chairman of DHC Software and the first rotating chairman of the CSCIU.
Solutions for the mobile Internet industry developed by IGRS have been widely applied in many fields of smart cities, including intelligent communities, smart homes and smart education, which have brought great convenience and a new lifestyle to residents.
