A sub-park of Beijing’s Zhongguancun Haidian Science Park was officially launched at the Qinhuangdao Economic and Technological Development Zone (QETDZ) in North China's Hebei province on May 11, 2014, People's Daily reported on Tuesday.
This is the first sub-park that Zhongguancun has established in the country. A number of enterprises from Zhongguancun have signed cooperation agreements with the QETDZ and settled in there.
With resource advantages from Beijing, the park will be developed into a demonstration base for new industries in Bohai Economic Rim and is expected to promote the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
