Xiaomi, a Beijing-based company in Zhongguancun, was named one of China’s Top 100 Green Companies at this year’s Green Companies Summit for its performance on sustainable development, Beijing Times reported on Wednesday.
Enterprises that win the award, which was sponsored by the China Entrepreneur Club, should stand out in culture, economy, environment, society and innovation. They should also provide a valuable reference for other companies.
Enterprises such as Haier Group, Geely Holding Group, Neusoft Group and Lenovo Group have been named for five years in a row.
