The administrative committee of Zhongguancun Science Park and its counterpart – the Bulgarian National Industrial Park Corporation - signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on cooperation at the opening ceremony of the China-Bulgaria Economic and Trade Fair in Beijing on April 28, 2014.
The two parties will carry out cooperation in many fields, such as information and communication technology, biological medicine, new materials, electronic engineering and mechanical manufacturing. They will also encourage their enterprises to expand business and strengthen exchanges in management and R&D.
The Bulgarian National Industrial Park Corporation is an administrative organization for industrial parks founded by the Bulgarian government and EU Funds in 2002, mainly providing investors with administrative services and high-quality infrastructures covering transportation, communications, water and power. So far, a total of seven industrial parks have been set up.
