Tsinghua’s x-lab, a university-based education platform for fostering creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship, celebrated the first anniversary of its establishment in Beijing on April 15, 2014.
As an experimental pilot of Zhongguancun Science Park, x-lab was honored as “Zhongguancun (Tsinghua) dream lab” by the park’s administrative committee.
Since its official launch in April 2013, the Tsinghua x-lab has attracted more than 250 projects and 53 creative teams for business opportunities. A total of 52 of the projects have begun planning or are already operational, and 16 of them have obtained investments.
