Tarena International Inc, a leading provider of IT education headquartered in Beijing’s Zhongguancun Science Park, listed on the Nasdaq under the symbol "TEDU" on April 3, becoming the first Chinese initial public offering (IPO) on the US stock market this year.
Founded in 2002, Tarena has trained over 130,000 students in software engineering, including Java, C++, C#/.Net, 3G/Android, 3G/IOS, PHP and software testing. The company has 92 training centers in 33 cities around the country, with a compound growth in net operating revenue of 88.9 percent from 2011 to 2013.
The successful IPO of Tarena brought the number of domestic and overseas listed companies in the park to 231.
