Bayer HealthCare, a subsidiary of Bayer AG, will invest around 100 million euros ($137.52 million) to increase production capacity of its Beijing plant in expectation of rising demand in China, the healthcare and medical manufacturer said on Monday. An agreement was signed during President Xi Jinping's visit to Germany on Friday. The expansion is to ensure supply of products, including cardiovascular and anti-diabetes medicines.
