The Beijing Lawyers Association has provided legal aid to relatives of passengers aboard Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370, the Legal Evening News reported on Wednesday.
The association selected 60 lawyers among more than 2,000 candidates on March 10 and divided them into several groups to supply one-on-one and 24-hour legal services for the relatives, the Beijing newspaper said.
The association had asked five lawyers on March 8 to help the relatives in five Beijing hotels with legal problems caused by the missing flight. The association has also distributed legal-knowledge brochures since March 10, the paper added.
