Zhongguancun Science Park launched its Association of Creative Industries Alliance on February 28 in Beijing.
The launch of the alliance, the first of its kind to be organized by social organizations in the nation, was announced at the annual conference of Zhongguancun's creative industries, which were jointly held by the China Creative Industries Research Center and Beijing Haidian Creative Industry Association.
The conference focused on three agendas: how to facilitate cooperation between information and communication technology companies, how to propel the integration of creative and technology industries through government-industry cooperation, and how to strengthen the overall competitiveness of Zhongguancun's creative industries.
"As the biggest demonstration base for integration of culture and technology in China, Zhongguancun should efficiently use its resources to create dialogue and promote mutual inspiration," said Mei Song, deputy inspector of the publicity department of the Beijing Municipal CPC Party Committee.
Professor Fei Xinbei from Beihang University and Professor Jin Yuanpu from Renmin University of China also proposed their ideas at the conference.
