The Auto Technology Media Alliance (ATM) was set up at 3W Cafe in Beijing, with participation from 30 investment institutions and investors, 10 auto technology media, and 200 entrepreneurs.
Cheng Li, the alliance's first rotating chairman and CEO of Cheyun.com, China's top automobile technology website, said the automobile industry as a whole has been evolving in the past 126 years, and it is now closely connected with Internet technology. The industry is looking for more opportunities in the Internet era.
Cheng added that the establishment of the alliance is to better integrate resources on the Internet to promote the automobile Internet's development in China.
