This year's Agricultural Carnival will be held in the Strawberry Expo Park in Beijing's Changping district from March 15 to May 4, according to the official website of the event.
The carnival will host a group of wonderful activities, including an opening ceremony, promotion fair and picking festival.
1. Opening ceremony
There will be performances to welcome the second Beijing Agricultural Carnival. Government officials, media representatives and tourists will attend.
Focused on agriculture, the ceremony aims to be a grand celebration to integrate, innovate and entertain guests.

2. Domestic agricultural products exhibition
Agricultural products from 28 provinces and cities across the country will compete at the exhibition. Date: March 15 – 18
Venue: The exhibition hall in the west area of Strawberry Expo Park
3. High quality agricultural products fair
Local high quality agricultural products and typical products from all over the world will be exhibited and sold at the fair.

4. Show on agricultural art
Date: March 15 – May 4
Venue: The agricultural art experience area in the west area of the Strawberry Expo Park
5. Strawberry technology exhibition
The technology exhibition will offer an amazing strawberry vista and display strawberries from Changping district to show the region’s technological and industrial strength.

6. Picking festival
During the Agricultural Carnival, visitors with full priced tickets will be allowed to pick half a kilo of strawberries for free.

7. Experiencing farm work for fun
Tourists will experience displays of farm work in different venues at the Strawberry Expo Park.
8. Photo exhibition
Photos of beautiful landscapes in China’s countryside will be exhibited during the carnival.

Venue: The gallery in the west area of Strawberry Expo Park
9. Youth carnival
Middle and primary school students will be invited to visit the park and get to know more about agricultural technology and culture in various activities, such as picking strawberries.

10. Agricultural carnival
There will be activities with different themes, such as popularization of agricultural knowledge and food safety. Talent shows and interesting games will entertain visitors during the carnival.
