A woman who was injured in a fall from her motorbike in an incident caused by a pet dog was awarded 63,000 yuan ($10,340) in compensation from the pet's owners, Beijing Times reported on Monday.
Surnamed Shi, the women was riding her electric motorbike home from work in Beijing at about 10 pm one day in November when a shepherd dog kept by a couple surnamed Liu and Yang caused her to fall.
Shi was injured in the fall and brought a lawsuit against the couple, originally seeking compensation of 75,000 yuan.
