There were no welcome banners, flowers or plants in the hotel lobby or conference center where the Second Session of the 12th CPPCC Beijing Committee was held this year.
In addition, the meeting did not provide pens or paper for political advisors. Those who needed pens or paper had to get them from a reception desk at the entrance of each conference room.
