China Philanthropy Research Institute of Beijing Normal University held its second Yiren Award ceremony in Beijing on Jan 16, to recognize media companies for their excellent coverage in the field in 2013, including best profile, best photo news, best in-depth report. Ten philanthropy journalists won awards. Each of the journalists also received a prize of 10,000 yuan ($1,650) from funds provided by the Shenzhen One Foundation, an independent public fundraising foundation in China.
