Beijing Capital International Airport launched an express delivery service for passengers unexpectedly forced to leave prohibited items behind before boarding, Beijing Daily reported on Monday.
The express delivery service, operating from the airport's three terminals, will deliver prohibited items surrendered at pre-boarding security checks by passengers who did not realize that they were not allowed to board with them.
The items can be delivered to 31 provinces and regions on the Chinese mainland and they can also be sent to five countries; Singapore, South Korea, Malaysia, Japan and the United States.
