Singers stage duet for comedy

Hua Chenyu, the champion of the 2013 TV singing show Happy Boys, will sing the theme song of Up in the Wind, a romantic comedy starring Ni Ni, lead actress of Zhang Yimou's last film The Flowers of War. Hua, 23, stood out from thousands of contestants to win the top award of the contest hosted by Hunan TV this summer. He will sing a duet with Tasiken, a popular contestant in Voice of China, another singing talent show. The film follows two young people who escape from their daily routines in Beijing for an unusual holiday in Nepal. It will premiere on Dec 31.
