The China Intangible Cultural Heritage Safeguarding Center has named the second batch of national bases for the preservation and research of intangible cultural heritage. The list consists of nine bases, including Henan Academy of Culture and Art, Beijing Juntianfang Guqin Art Promotion Company and Hangzhou Shizhuzhai Art Museum. The naming of National Bases for the Safeguarding and Research of Intangible Cultural Heritage started earlier this year to recognize organizations set up or initiated by inheritors of China's intangible cultural heritage and devoted to protection and research work.
