Online applicants, the elderly and the disabled who apply for passports and other travel documents in Beijing can enjoy free delivery services starting Dec 16.
According to the Exit and Entry Administration of the Beijing Public Security Bureau, the three groups have to meet the following requirements:
Online applicants should log into the home webpage of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau, click "Exit and Entry Agency" and register for express delivery service. The registration system will open on Dec 15 at 12:01am. The elderly should be over 60 and the disabled should hold a Chinese disability certificate.
The decision, made by the city's public security bureau and finance bureau, will benefit at least 50 percent of applicants.
