Food producers who have used raw materials, additives and related products that cannot meet food safety standards, or who have added drugs to food will be ordered to stop production.
They will also have their licenses revoked and be blacklisted, under a regulation issued by the China Food and Drug Administration on Thursday. The draft, published at www.chinalaw.gov.cn, will be open to public comments until Jan 10.
