A winter clothes donation campaign was launched in Beijing on Dec 7.
A total of 350 youth clubs from local communities will collect second-hand winter clothes in their neighborhoods and send them to poverty-stricken areas.
Each donor will receive an identification code that can help check the destination of their donation. Those who leave phone numbers will get the information through text messages.
The campaign is sponsored by the China Communist Youth League Beijing Committee and the Beijing Youth Federation.
