The death toll from a warehouse fire in Xiaowuji, Chaoyang district, rose to 12 after a body was found early on Wednesday, according to Beijing police. The fire was reported at around 8:30 pm on Tuesday and it had engulfed an area of more than 500 square meters before being extinguished at around 11 pm. Two owners of the warehouse are being detained by police while investigations are conducted.
