Maolong Park used to be a warehouse that stored products for exports. It has become another culture and creative cluster in Beijing after renovation. The first phase has been finished and it opened to the public during the seventh China Beijing International Cultural & Creative Industry Expo(ICCIE) last December. It is also one of venues of this year’s expo , which began Wednesday and ends Sunday.
Located in the eastern part of the CBD-Dingfuzhuang corridor, one of the capital's most attractive regions for companies in the cultural and creative industries, it has a planning area of 17 square kilometers and enjoys desirable development potential and preferential policies in investment.
When completed, the park will become a platform for companies in such industries as advertising, culture, media, and arts and crafts. It is expected to have annual revenue of 10 billion yuan and become an important complex along the corridor, they said.
