Days of Kazakhstan Culture in China are ongoing in Beijing, Shanghai and Urumqi of the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region. A grand opening show introducing traditional Kazakh folk music, instruments and dances was held at the National Center for the Performing Arts in Beijing on Nov 5. Astana Ballet, which was named after its capital, gave its debut performance in China. Golden Man: Treasures of Kazakhstan exhibition is held at the National Museum of China in Beijing until Nov 15, showing the country's history, culture and its people's daily lives. The Days of Chinese Culture is scheduled to be held in Kazakhstan next year.
