A grand ceremony was held to celebrate the opening of a school for online literature in Guozijian (the Imperial College), in Beijing, on Oct 30. Mo Yan, China's first winner of the Nobel literature award, was named the school’s honorary president at the ceremony.
The non-profit school is the first organization of its kind in China. Online writers will get systematic training on both theory and writing skills, as well as opportunities to communicate with all kinds of writers and practice writing under the guidance of masters like Mo Yan.
Online writing participants can find courses suitable for them, no matter whether they have experience in the field or not.
Guided by the Chinese Writers Association and sponsored by the website ChineseALL, one of the leading digital publication companies in China, the school received support from a group of websites of original Chinese literary.
