Michelin three-star chef Umberto Bombana from Italy is in Beijing to present a unique white truffle menu on Oct 27. It'll be the first time for Opera Bombana, the chef's Italian restaurant and fresh bakery in Beijing. He will use the trifola d'Alba, a most sought-after delicacy, to create a seasonal white truffle menu. Available in the evening only, the five-course degustation menu features homemade tagliolini, egg ravioli and veal fillet medallion - all with white truffle. The menu is priced at 1,888 yuan ($310) plus a 10 percent per head, and 2,388 yuan plus 10 percent surcharge with wine pairing.
