Cameras to be installed in Beijing's construction sites

This year, all construction sites in Beijing will be equipped with camera monitoring systems to inspect dust problems, according to the Beijing Municipal Housing and Construction Committee.

With the pictures taken by the cameras, companies that use unqualified trucks to carry earth will be punished. The cameras are also used to inspect the current conditions of the construction sites by taking photos of each area.

At present, more than 100 well-managed construction sites in Chaoyang, Huairou and Fangshan districts have been equipped with the camera monitoring system.
