The popular giant Rubber Duck now in Beijing underwent "plastic surgery" after visitor complained at its debut that the duck, with a drooping beak and wrinkled skin, didn't look like the Hong Kong version. The yellow duck, designed by Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman, appeared on the Yongding River of the Garden Expo Park in Beijing on Friday. The agency in charge of the duck's copyright import said it organized a maintenance team of more than 10 people, deflated the duck overnight and stitched about 200 pieces of material around the beak.
