Indian vocalist Bombay Jayashri, singer of Pi's Lullaby from the film Life of Pi, will make her Beijing debut. Born into a musical family, Jayashri started training in the Indian classic Carnatic music early under the guidance of her parents. Jayashri wrote the lyrics for Pi's Lullaby, for which she was nominated for the 2013 Academy Award for Best Original Song. At the Beijing concert, Jayashri will perform Pi's Lullaby and a program of classical Carnatic music.
