A job fair at the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone (BDA) in Yizhuang, a southeast suburb in Beijing, kicked off on April 13.
The job fair targeted high-level human resources in management, high-technology and other specialized technologies.
More than 80 enterprises, such as Beijing Benz, LG Chem and Tong Ren Tang, participated, seeking to fill 1,000 employment opportunities in technology research and development, enterprise project management, finance and marketing, mechanical engineering and software engineering. Over 4,600 job seekers came for interviews.
BDA is the only State-level economic and technological development zone in Beijing. It consists of six industrial parks, including China New Media Industrial Park, Biopharmaceutical Industrial Park, New Energy and Automobiles Industrial Park, Manufacturing-Oriented Services Industrial Park, Military and Civilian Industrial Park, and New Airport Industrial Park. So far, over 5,400 enterprises have set up branches in the zone, 79 of which are Fortune 500 companies.
