According to Wu, association membership reached 161, with 81 new members joining in 2012. Fifty-one events aiming to serve membership companies were held last year.
Wu said 2013 would be a “quality-raising year” for the association. The organization’s regulations and services will be improved.
The attendees at the meeting agreed that a system of excellence evaluation will be established, with the title of “Golden Phoenix” serving the highest honor.
A recommendation to set up a reciprocal alliance within the association was supported. Member companies will enjoy preferential policies when making a business deal with one another. The alliance will provide a platform for them to share information and business resources.
About 20 female entrepreneurs from the association’s counterpart in Fengtai district were also present at the meeting.
