Vice Mayor: Zhang Gong

Zhang Gong was born in Beijing in August 1961. He graduated from the Capital University of Economics and Business (CUEB) (as an on-the-job postgraduate student). Zhang currently serves as director and Party secretary of the Beijing Municipal Development and Reform Commission.

The previous leadership positions Zhang Gong has held include: deputy director and then director of the Beijng Institute of Electrical Appliances, director of the Beijing Transformer Factory, member of the Industrial Affairs Commission of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee, deputy director of the Economic Affairs Commission of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee, member of the Party Leadership Group of the Beijing Municipal Commission for Development and Reform, and deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Commission for Development and Reform.
