General Office of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality
1.Assist leading officials of the Municipal Government to draft documents released in the name of the Municipal Government or its General Office.
2.Organize meetings of the Municipal Government.
3.Give opinions on proposals submitted by the district and county governments and various departments of the Municipal Government, and submit them to leading officials of the Municipal Government for approval; handle documents of the State Council and its General Office.
4.Manage duty shift of the Municipal Government, report important situations to leading officials of the Municipal Government in a timely fashion and assist in handling important issues that district and county governments and various departments of the Municipal Government have reported on to the Municipal Government; assist leading officials of the Municipal Government in handling emergencies and major accidents that fall under jurisdiction of the Municipal Government; arranging Municipal Government leading officials' participation in important political functions; receive official visitors.
5.Inspect the State Council's documents; supervise district and county governments and Municipal Government departments of Municipal Government's documents, decisions made by Municipal Government meetings and important instructions from leading officials of the Municipal Government, track development and report to leading officials of the Municipal Government
6.Provide important information to leading officials of the Municipal Government; manage office automation.
7.Organize relevant departments of the Municipal Government to handle proposals put forward by deputies to the People's Congress and members of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference; liaison with the Beijing Garrison Command.
8.Organize research on special subjects as instructed by leading officials of the Municipal Government, report situations and give suggestions in a timely fashion.
9.Lead the logistics service for the Municipal Government's departments.
10.Lead work related to editing of the Gazette of the Beijing Municipal People's Government and confidential courier service
11. Handle other matters entrusted by leading officials of the Municipal Government. Oversee the Municipal Government's representative offices outside Beijing. Coordinate public emergency prevention and responsiveness in accordance with decisions made by the Beijing Public Emergency Committee.
