Beijing will setup a medical aid fund to help residents who have suffered serious illness, Beijing Daily reported.
Beijing Charity Association, the future organizer of the fund, will receive 30 million yuan from the municipal government. It is estimated the value of the fund will reach 90 million yuan over the next three years.
It is scheduled to launch before May, 2012, the newspaper said.
