Bridal Chamber is a newly-created comedy supervised by Chen Peisi and produced by Dadao Culture. The comedy's script was born from work receiving the winning prize in the script collection activity of the Beijing Comedy Festival 2014. It was then freshly recomposed by Chen Dayu and directed by Chen Haihua, a new prominent director born in the 1980s. The play was performed for audiences in Beijing for the first time in May 2015. It is emotional by virtue of its humorous and splendid plot setting and the way it gets straight to the realistic romantic core of 'naked marriages', and was enjoyed by the whole audience, especially young people.
