After a voting procedure during last week's 2014 World Tourism Cities Federation (WTCF), Rabat and Fez in Morocco won the bid to host the summit next year. This will be the first time that the WTCF tourism summit will be held overseas.
"Morocco is a very old country with many traditions, but it is also moving to modernity," Abderrafia Zouitene, Chief Executive Officer of Moroccan National Tourist Office, introduced his country to chinadaily.com.cn during the summit. "Our people are tolerant, hard-working, and open minded. And we have very good logistics, so I think we will have a lot to present when we host the 2015 WTCF."
