4 dead in SW China mine explosion

KUNMING - Four people have been confirmed dead and four others injured in a coal mine gas explosion in southwest China's Yunnan Province early Monday, local authorities said.
The accident occurred at around 10:30 a.m. at a coal mine in Linfeng Township of Weixin County, according to the county's information office.
An investigation into the cause of the blast is under way.
