Yunnan vice governor sacked for disciplinary violations

China cracks down on graft
BEIJING - Vice governor of southwest China's Yunnan Province Shen Peiping has been removed from his post for suspected severe violations of disciplines, authorities said Wednesday.

Authorities are handling his case according to the procedure, said a statement of the Organization Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee.
