Gigantic garbage bin ready to devour
Residents in Taiyuan, capital city of Shanxi province, have been introduced to a giant, bunker-style garbage collector that is 1.9 meters in diameter and 2.8 meters high.
The huge receptacle was built three meters underground to utilize the low-temperature environment that is believed to reduce bacteria.
Debate has emerged that the immense size of the pit's mouth could be dangerous for a negligent person, say an unfortunate drunkard.
