Located in East China's Shandong province near South Korea, Weihai has beenthe first choice for South Korean commodities for many years. However, because of poor supervision, more and more fake commodities are appearing on the market. Weihai South Korean Commodity Trading Center, established in 2014, has rectified the market order with a strict certified system.
All goods sold in the trading center have a“identification”. “All the enterprises in this trade center need to show us their qualification for Korean import trade, and issue customs declarations, certificates of origin and quarantine certificates.” said Zhao Yun, general manager of Weihai South Korean Commodity Trading Center. If customers have doubts, they can identify the origin of goods through the customs declaration, Zhao added.
Zhao hopes that the trade model will spread to other cities across the country.
Since last year, the volume of retail sales reached to 15 million yuan and the volume of wholesale reached 220 million yuan. Before the interview, Zhao had met with agents from several provinces and cities across the country.
Weihai South Korean Commodity, established in 2014, sells more than 30000 commodities, including food, cosmetics, and appliances.
