The traditional bicycle manufacturing industry is revived in China as bike-share programs have become a new trend, particularly among young people.

Tianjin Meibang Bicycle Industry Co Ltd, a company located in Wuqing district, Tianjin, with more than 20 years of experience in bike manufacturing, needs to complete 50,000 bluegogo bikes -- a hot share-bike brand in China -- per month, which has brought Meibang 30 million yuan ($4.35 million) growth in revenue.

Meanwhile, bluegogo production has increased employment for local people in Wuqing district and helped promote the development of local enterprises.
