A sci-fi theme park in Tianjin will reopen to the public after upgrading of its traditional facilities and the launching of brand new programs.
Covering an area of 400,000 square meters, the Fantawild Adventure•Tianjin, one of the most popular high-tech theme parks in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region, is expected to reopen to tourists in early April.
Tourists will have better experience with new programs, such as Fanta Castle and Devil’s Peak. Fanta Castle offers children and their parents a golden opportunity to learn how modern cartoons are made.
Devil’s Peak is based in part on the story of the classical Chinese literary work Journey to the West. The novel is about the monk Xuan Zang, who relies on his four powerful apprentices - including the superhero Monkey King - to finish a harsh journey to India around 1,300 years ago.
In 2016, the park will launch a series of performances and activities based on three themes - Spring, Carnival and Magic.
