The Green Expo Garden in Tianjin is offering a winter carnival with diverse outdoor activities. Snow has blanketed the landscape, bringing tourists to the garden.

During the Christmas season in 2015 and the New Year holiday, The Green Expo Garden in Wuqing District attracted nearly 20,000 tourists, according to the management office.
Man-made snow covers the hill, allowing skiing, skating and other winter sports.
A cartoon-themed carnival is also unfolding in the garden where tourists can take pictures with popular characters including Santa Claus and Doraemon, a blue cat in Japanese manga.

Students can receive discounts, said Yan Tao, in charge of the Nanhu management office.
