A batch of New Zealand apples has successfully passed inspection and quarantine and entered the domestic market through Jinghai Customs in Tianjin.

The apples weigh 22.6 tons and are worth $60,600. It is the first batch of imported apples in the fruit inspection area of Tianjin Jixing Agricultural product distribution center after its official launch.

The distribution center enacted quarantine work in advance and arranged staff members to check the customs paperwork as soon as the products arrived. The distribution center immediately discharged the products after quarantine procedures.
