Tianjin holds foreign style temple fair to celebrate Spring Festival

The city of Tianjin's Five Avenue scenic spot put on a temple fair with bits of foreign culture, on Minyuan Square, during Spring Festival celebrations for the year of goat. The foreign events included a parade of floats and music programs.

The temple fair is a traditional Chinese folk affair for the Spring Festival and Lantern Festival, usually in or near a temple, where local people worship gods and spirits. More recently, the fairs have featured various products, decorations and foods.
